The most recent fall happened September 14 at 163-25 Archer Avenue in Queens (BIN 4625217), logged by DOB as accident report number 46445. The same day, DOB recorded a worker fall with injury at 341 Lenox Road in Brooklyn (BIN 3107778, report 46446) and another at 979 Intervale Avenue in the Bronx (BIN 2131151, report 46451).
Two more falls preceded that cluster. On September 11, DOB logged a worker fall with injury at 66 Hudson Boulevard East in Manhattan (BIN 1090122, report 46440) and a separate one at 189 West 89th Street in Manhattan (BIN 1085485, report 46439) — both classified by DOB as "Accident" records rather than lesser incident reports, a distinction the agency draws in its own coding.
A sixth, non-injury incident was also logged in the same window: DOB recorded an "Other Construction Related" incident with no fatality or injury at 2754 West 15th Street in Brooklyn (BIN 3188482, report 46443) on September 12.
DOB's incident dataset does not include a stated cause for any of the six reports, and none of the underlying accident investigation reports has been made public as of this writing. The agency's complaint intake system also logged 100 new construction-related complaints citywide over the same 48-hour stretch, per DOB's Complaints Received dataset — an ordinary volume for the system, and unrelated as filed to the six incident records above.
