A donor-recognition build at Letchworth's Humphrey Nature Center, a bridge-panel replacement at Niagara Falls State Park, and a ceiling job inside the Administration Building at Saratoga Spa State Park all posted today, due within eight days of each other in late October.
That spread tells you something about how Parks runs its capital program. The Western District is handling both Letchworth (due October 27) and Niagara Falls (due October 28), while the Hudson Valley District is running Saratoga Spa on its own calendar (due October 20). Same agency, same classification tier — these are all Classification 4, the smaller end of Parks' capital work — but three different district offices are pushing bids out independently rather than bundling them.

The Niagara Falls job is the one worth a longer look if you do horizontal or structural work: it's a Mabey panel bridge — the modular steel panel bridges Parks uses for pedestrian crossings in high-traffic tourist areas — and replacing panels on one inside a working state park means staging and access will matter as much as the steel itself. The other two are vertical trade jobs: donor-wall installation is finish carpentry and signage work, and a ceiling replacement inside an active administration building is exactly the kind of small occupied-building job that a two- or three-person crew can chase without tying up a full estimating team.
None of the three has a posted engineer's estimate or plan-holder list yet — Parks capital ads often don't surface that until closer to bid date — so treat these as calendar entries for now, not tab data. If your shop does small institutional or park work in western New York or the Hudson Valley, all three are worth a look before the mid-to-late October bid dates land at once.
