The City University Construction Fund registered three separate contracts tied to the Roosevelt Hall renovation at the College of Staten Island between August and October, according to NYC Comptroller's Checkbook NYC.

Liro Engineers Inc. picked up the biggest piece, a $0.18 million environmental contract (ENV-10) running from August 11 to September 30, under competitive sealed bidding. MP Engineers and Architects PC, an Asian American-owned firm, landed a $0.06 million special inspection contract (SI-18) through a request for proposals, running August 20, 2026 through June 19, 2028. Both contracts are listed under the same renovation and HVAC upgrade project at Roosevelt Hall.

The same week, the fund registered a fourth contract on the same campus with a different scope: $3.08 million to Lizardos Engineering Assoc for a solar panel installation (EE-13) at CSI, running June 16, 2026 through July 15, 2030, also under competitive sealed bidding. Lizardos also won a separate $3.41 million contract (ME-31) at Hunter Campus School for renovation and a building management system upgrade, registered October 16 and running through April 2031.

Splitting a single building renovation into engineering, inspection, and environmental pieces is standard practice for CUNY's construction fund — each discipline gets its own procurement and its own contract number, even when the underlying job is one renovation. It means a sub chasing CSI work should watch for more Roosevelt Hall-tagged solicitations, not assume the scope is closed once one contract posts.

Lizardos' two contracts, at Hunter and at CSI, total $6.49 million across two boroughs under the same construction fund in the same month — worth tracking if the firm is bidding a third CUNY job soon.
