Queens building sites turned up a string of housekeeping and permit violations in mid-August OATH/ECB hearings, with every case decided against the respondent at hearings held October 27, 2026, per OATH/ECB Hearings (Case Status) records.

At 215-19 38th Avenue in Queens, L L Construction Develop was found in violation for failing to maintain adequate housekeeping. The Department of Buildings inspection on August 14 noted a pile of debris materials in the site's back area, which the violation record describes as creating hazards for workers on site. The same respondent was cited again at 152-21 Roosevelt Avenue in Queens on August 18, where DOB recorded excessive storage of construction materials and debris at the front and side of the building. Both cases carry a $1,250 penalty and both were resolved with all terms met, according to the records.

Bedford Construction Group Inc. was cited at 706 Jarvis Avenue in Far Rockaway on August 21 for temporary construction equipment — a site fence — left standing on an inactive jobsite after its permit expired February 14, 2026, per DOB. The violation carries a $1,250 penalty. A similar expired-fence-permit violation hit 160-15 72nd Avenue in Fresh Meadows on August 17, filed against 160-15 Property LLC, where DOB noted the permit had lapsed May 1, 2025, with no new active permit on file. Royal CP Hotel Holdings LP drew the same violation type at 25-06 42nd Road in Queens on July 8.

Two more active-site housekeeping violations rounded out the batch: JP Home Construction Corp at 265-10 Union Turnpike in Queens on August 20, where DOB found black plastic bags, cardboard, broken tiles and construction debris with no construction superintendent sign attached to the site; and Custombuilt Homes Inc. at 86-15 257th Street in Queens on August 20, where inspectors cited demolition debris, broken concrete, metal and PVC pipe, and insulation across multiple building exposures. Both carry $1,250 penalties and both show all terms met in OATH's compliance status field.

A separate violation at 37-30 74th Street in Jackson Heights, filed against Titan Services USA Inc. on August 20, cited a site shed built nearly 15 feet high and with post spacing that did not conform to approved plans, per DOB records.

None of the nine respondents' compliance records indicate contested outcomes; OATH's hearing_result field lists "IN VIOLATION" across the board, with penalties already shown as satisfied under "All Terms Met."
