No new enforcement records -- violations, stop-work orders, or federal actions -- were entered against New York City construction sites as of this writing, per the datasets The RFI Wire tracks for this desk.

DOB's complaint intake shows seven new complaints entered October 22, per DOB Complaints Received records. A complaint is a request for inspection, not a finding -- none of the seven has a disposition yet, and none should be read as a confirmed condition.

The complaints span the boroughs: 1879 Gates Avenue in Queens (BIN 4082909, plumbing-coded complaint 4A55991 logged at 90-10 150th Street, Queens, BIN 4206821), 110-26 Liberty Avenue in Queens (BIN 4202412), 84-10 34th Avenue in Queens (BIN 4035547, elevator-coded), 25 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn (BIN 3059181, elevator-coded), 2381 Lorillard Place in the Bronx (BIN 2130467, boiler-coded), and 989 6th Avenue in Manhattan (BIN 1015242).

Two of the seven -- at 84-10 34th Avenue in Jackson Heights and 25 Lafayette Avenue in Fort Greene -- are logged under DOB's elevator complaint unit, meaning an elevator condition was the basis for the inspection request. The Bronx complaint at 2381 Lorillard Place is logged under DOB's boiler unit.

Separately, ABC7NY reported Friday that a 6-year-old girl was struck by falling bricks from a building in Maspeth, Queens. DOB's own incident record for that address had not posted as of this writing -- these datasets typically post four or more days after an event, which is routine lag, not an absence of a record. This desk is holding the item and will report DOB's findings, including any violation history at the address, once that record is available.
