The OATH/ECB Hearings (Case Status) dataset lists 22 Brooklyn properties with Department of Buildings violations calendared for hearings September 9, 2026, at OATH's Brooklyn tribunal, Part 3. Every record already shows a result of "in violation" and a compliance status of "All Terms Met," with a zero balance due — meaning DOB's civil case closed out ahead of the scheduled date, per the records.
Three of the tickets are for the same problem: an expired sidewalk shed permit. At 823 Maple Street in Brooklyn (11203), OP Buildings Corp was cited (ticket 039556197J) after DOB found the shed permit for a proposed seven-story new building, No. B01279994, had expired June 9. At 97 Grand Avenue (11205), Avarga Construction Corp drew a ticket (039556106P) for a shed permit, No. B01272262-I1-SH, that lapsed July 1 and was not renewed. At 315 87th Street (11209), Titan Services USA Inc was cited (039194345R) for a posted shed and scaffold with no permits visible on site for job B01394421.
One active site drew three separate tickets. At 16 Rear Scholes Street in Brooklyn (11206) — an active four-story new-building job, per the inspection notes — Structureline Inc was cited twice: once for yard material blocking egress with no three-foot walkway (039556088K), and again for roof protection installed contrary to the approved site safety plan, with styrofoam missing under plywood and planking (039556066J). Deep Formation Inc, cited at the same address (039556093P), was flagged for a sidewalk shed that didn't match its approved drawings — a 16-foot elevation the plans didn't show.
One landlord took four tickets at a single address. AMR Development, at 100 New Jersey Avenue (11207), was cited June 30 for step cracks on a parapet wall, smoke detectors capped with orange covers on multiple floors, water damage in a room ceiling, and an exit door that wasn't self-closing — a combined $4,375 in violation amounts across the four tickets.
Separately, at 951 East 108th Street (11236), Target Construction LLC was cited (039556207Y) during a weather-advisory inspection for a boom truck parked in a vehicular lane, contrary to the site's own safety plan, which called for that lane to be used as working storage only.
The remaining dozen-plus tickets in the batch cover routine building-maintenance items — an unbraced parapet fence, an unmaintained elevator cab mirror, leaking boiler condensate lines, uncovered AC units — each carrying fines between $200 and $2,500. Across the 21 tickets that list a dollar amount, the total comes to roughly $22,000.
None of these records show an injury, a stop-work order, or a criminal referral. DOB also logged just over 100 new complaints citywide in the two days ending September 8, per DOB Complaints Received data — an unverified queue, not a finding, but a sign of where inspectors may turn next.
For contractors running active sites: the shed-permit and site-safety-plan citations here are the two categories DOB keeps writing tickets for, and they're both avoidable with a calendar reminder. If your firm holds a shed permit, check its expiration date against the job schedule before an inspector does it for you.
