Part-time inspection work enforcing local codes, laws and ordinances and acting on violations; this title does not cover the NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code. One year in building construction, a building trade, or field inspection qualifies, and an associate's degree or higher in Building Technology, Architecture or Engineering Technology is fully qualifying. The civil service exam is waived under the NY HELPS Local program. Applications close Open Until Filled.
