Operates grader, sweeper, roller, caterpillar tractor and other specialized heavy equipment in the construction and maintenance of city streets, plus heavy snowplow work and possible tractor-trailer operation. Non-competitive classification; carries responsibility for minor repairs and routine servicing of the equipment, and is subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing for CDL drivers.
