Second in command of the city's Water Bureau, assisting in design and planning of water main installations and extensions, directing repair and inspection of mains and hydrants, and engaging and supervising outside contractors and consultants against legal requirements and specifications. Requires an engineering degree with three to seven years in design, construction, operation and maintenance of a municipal water system, plus a Grade 1B Community Water Plant Operator's Certificate.
