New athletic facility on the Chester Academy and Chester Elementary campus, bid as five prime contracts: General, Site, Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical. A 10% bid security (certified check or bid bond) must come with each bid, and prevailing wage applies, with certified payroll required. The pre-bid conference and site visit was Oct. 7, so it has already happened. Bid documents download free from the architect's online plan room (REVplans / Biddy, lan.biddyhq.com, under public projects), and the notice names that plan room as the only way to be listed as an official plan holder of record and to receive addenda. Printed sets are available for a $100 deposit, refundable to bidders who submit a bid.
