GSA is setting up a pool of about 25 construction contractors for general construction and design-build work in federally owned and leased space across New York and New Jersey. It is a total small business set-aside, with up to one award per zone set aside each for HUBZone, SDVOSB and women-owned small businesses. Contracts run one base year plus four option years, with a combined ceiling of $500 million, and individual task orders go up to $20 million. Zone 1 covers the five boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester and the north Jersey counties; Zone 4 includes the Hudson Valley. Proposals are due October 28 at 4 p.m.
