Suffolk County is building a new freestanding men's and women's restroom building at Thomas Muratore Park in Farmingville, with a nitrogen-reducing septic system, site grading, electric and water connections and lighting. It is one general construction contract, bid single-prime with no Project Labor Agreement; bidders must list their plumbing, HVAC and electrical subs and amounts in a separate sealed list. An optional walk-through is October 13 at 10 a.m. on site. Bids are due October 27 at 11 a.m. in Yaphank, and bidders must register on the county's public works bid site to get documents.
