The MTA is bidding elevated structure painting and structural steel repairs on the Flushing line between Queensboro Plaza and 33rd Street. Federally funded, 1,284 calendar days, and the biggest painting package the authority has advertised this year. Documents went out Sept. 18. Update, Sept. 30: the MTA now lists bids due Oct. 27, not Oct. 20.
