The original spring bid for interior mechanical upgrades at Hauppauge's high school and middle school apparently drew no acceptable offer, because the district re-bid the work and its school board voted June 9, 2026 to award the electrical portion at both buildings to CDJ Electric, Inc. and the middle school's mechanical portion to Inshallah Mechanical Corporation; the board record does not list a dollar amount or name a high-school mechanical contractor.
