The school board rejected all bids opened May 19, 2026 for canopy installation and masonry restoration at Burr and Sawmill Intermediate Schools after the low bidder withdrew and the remaining bidders were missing required paperwork, then rebid the canopy portion alone and awarded it to Capital Renovation Corp. as low bidder in July 2026; the masonry-restoration portion of the original scope was folded into a separate playground/masonry bid also won by Capital Renovation Corp.
