This is an Expression of Interest, not a bid. October 9 at 2:00 PM is the deadline to submit qualifications; DASNY short-lists qualified firms and invites them to bid later, and no bid date has been posted yet. DASNY puts the job at $6 million to $7 million. Submissions need at least five years of experience on comparable work, five similar projects in the last ten years, an EMR letter, a surety letter showing bonding capacity and the CCA-2 questionnaire. A project labor agreement applies, and the anticipated goals are 18% MBE, 12% WBE and 6% SDVOB, set final when bid documents go out. The posted plans and specs are for reference only.
