Haugland Energy is seeking DBE, MBE and SDVOB subcontractors on the 7EM Deer Park switchgear replacement for PSEG Long Island — installing 15kV feeders and the incoming and bus-tie cables on switchgears 1, 2 and 3. The two scopes it is buying out are electrical conduit and HDPE material supply, and vacuum excavation. Every subcontractor has to be registered in ISNetworld with a grade of C or better, so check that before you spend time on a number. Participation goals on the job are 15% MBE, 15% DBE and 6% SDVOB. Bid date is September 10.
