Tully Construction is chasing subcontractors and suppliers on the rehabilitation of eight bridges for NYC DOT in Brooklyn, contract HBCR22A. The prime wants New York State and New York City certified MBE firms for concrete pavement grinding, concrete repairs, rebar installation and rebar supply, masonry, structural steel, waterproofing, painting, epoxy overlay and pavement markings. Bonds will not be required from qualified subcontractors, which takes the usual bonding hurdle off the table for a smaller shop. Get your quote in ahead of the September 14 bid; the prime releases plans and specs on request.
