Annual inspections, load testing, maintenance and repair of cranes and hoists at county facilities. Bids close October 7, received until 11:00 a.m. at the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains. A pre-inspection is set for September 10 at 9:00 a.m. at the Yonkers Joint Water Resource Recovery Facility, 1 Fernbrook Street — and unlike the county's two other open construction contracts, attendance is not required to bid, so this one is still open to a firm coming to it cold. Bid books and drawings are free through the Empire State Purchasing Group. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor before bidding.
