A new sewage treatment plant serving Skylands Manor in Ringwood State Park. This is a re-bid, and the reason is worth knowing: when the state advertised it in August it received no bids at all. The state's cost estimate is $957,900. Bids close October 15 at 2:00 p.m. through Bid Express; paper bids are not accepted. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is set for September 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the treatment plant, and only contractors who attend can bid. Bidders must be DPMC-classified in C006, C008, C055 or C062, and must name DPMC-classified plumbing (C030) and electrical (C047) subcontractors.
