Rehabilitation of the historic viaduct station's south-facing brick facade: brick veneer out and replaced west of the westerly control tower, concrete and steel-framing repairs, every window assembly replaced, new steel lintels, limestone coping reset, and the existing sidewalk shed comes down. A+B contract — bidders bid schedule as well as price, capped at 580 days. Goals: 15 percent MBE, 15 percent WBE, 6 percent SDVOB, plus a 50 percent Enhanced Utilization Credit for EUCI-eligible firms. Bids open September 3. Also advertised as CR#2137277.
